New Topic

Hi All,

I thought that I might give us all some practice at writing fiction. So next weeks topic is:

"Write a Fictional piece in any form and any length. You must include the words extinguish, vessel, and market (or forms thereof) in the piece"...yes I know. But I hope this is challenging - in a good way :D

  1. see now that just feels like homework or school work.... thankfully for me I have a couple of litle people for whom school isn't some form of nightmarish terror they keep in a deep dark part of their mind they never intend on visiting

  2. I'm so bloody tempted to shoehorn those three words into a short story I already have. Is that cheating?

  4. You have no idea how hard it was to pick 3 random words without first thinking of a plot... I was do tempted. And sorry Troy. I just wanted to mix it up again and make sure the blog doesn't get bogged down in too much argument.

  6. Aha, the "rest" were probably just fired up by some of the early subjects. Lis picked a corker to launch us! And I think she's hit the quinella this week because I have one 'maybe' and one 'possible' who might join us with some fiction now and then :) Fingers crossed people...

  9. I would like to confess to cheating and using a piece I wrote years ago. Not my greatest work I must say, but the only one I felt able to put the words into. I'm a bad girl... yes I feel appropriately guilty (can I use the excuse of having exams, even if I didn't actually use all my spare time to study?)
